So I gambled a shield with every Mod you want on it except for 17/30/20. Wondering if 30/20 is actually required? If your still at max block is the 30/20 still beneficial? Does 30/20 just get you to max block with less Dex needed? If so this shield could be used on a zon that is all Dex anyway??

Less dex required= more life so yes, 30/20 is a staple on everything besides pally shields

That's why I said use it on a pure Dex zon, you will still be max block without it.

when i mained zon i prefered a 1kish life 11 fpa setup with string/bfists. but i also lag on my shit internet and always went with higher mana efficiency builds.


as to the shield, the only reason i'd ditch 30-20 would be for a 17fhr/3 os kite on a zon, OR a eth/rep grim shield on a pally since they hit MB w/ holy shield anyways.

as they say: these shield are made for blocking, and 3/4 the time that's what they do. one of the days you'll get caught walking and your block will turn to poo.

pally has auto 2 frame blocking. zon uses wsg

FBR is generally only relevant on a char that would use a Whitstans to get GG blockrate. anything else is going to WSG or is a pally. or a sorc that will tele out or w/e. FBR is about not getting kited rly imo

fbr definitely help on bowazon block side

100% need a block shield vs builds like WW barb.

difference between 17 frame and 11 frame block is noteable and WSG isn't an option.
