I’ve been out of the LLD scene for a very long time. It’s been well over 10 years. I had a level 18 throw Barb that I had a blast with! I was thinking about rolling a LLD char next season. I have some questions:


Is there any kind of LLD scene on ladder?

What is the most popular level bracket? 9? 18? 30?

What are some of the best current builds?

on east ladder:

VLLD, a few rush chars EARLY as tomb pk chars. but actual duelers are slow to build (Inv is hard to get)

18, usually a few FAST built charge/zealers with cookie cutter gear. takes a long time for the bracket to develop.

30, generally lukewarm for month 1 (like 1-3 people with duelers) then it pops off with lots more


but overall i'd make a project char on ladder and a dueler on NL. duels on NL can always be got, and once that project char rolls over you have another char to duel with.

18 is pointless if KO is still around

Ty, sir! It seems like level 30 is the most active from what I can tell.

What are some of the best level 30 builds?

Fireball/bow/Libby are best

Trap/windy/telebaba/firewall/blizz/charge/plague/hdin/nec are also viable

I'm probably forgetting something important

I think the best one to make is a kicksin if you're just restarting

dragon flight is an amazing skill and you can gear them for almost nothing.

There are still viable level 30 builds for each class so it's whatever floats your boat really. if you're playing softcore I can give you some stuff to start
