I'm looking to find bases for imbuing... but I am not sure how to figure out which areas/difficulties give me the best chance at finding said base. E.g. eth blade talons

Any help appreciated

Thanks for the reply! I assume normal would be best since the base in normal. In the few areas I've been running in addition to cows, Outer Steppes seems to yield as many as cows interestingly. But, only found 6 so far, that's a very small sample size.

Normal/trash monsters will have a monster level equal to the area level

Monster level determines the quality level of item that can drop, and each specific item has its own quality level.

So if you have a specific base you are looking for, you can look up that specific base online to find the qlvl, then check the area level chart to see which areas have monsters of the level needed to drop that base and also has high density.

Using blade talons as an example, I just looked them up and saw the quality level is 21. So checking the area level list, I see that flayer jungle is area level 22, meaning that trash mobs in that area will be just high enough to drop it, and I know that flayer jungle has high density, so I would include that in my list of places to look for it.

e/ but for imbuing, certain character levels for the imbue are important depending on which mods you want

Terror Flayer Jungle is my favorite place because the Shamans die twice and can drop items a third time if you use Find Item.
