looking to get into LLD as a bow zon. I have most of the stuff and some of the jewels kinda stuck on what to do with the weapon. I have a 3/15 stag bow with 5 sockets. What exactly should i be putting into that to get the most benefit ? Shaels are out because they are lvl 27 should i bother putting in a nef to knockback? or should i just be looking for ED/Max dmg jewels ? some guidance would be appreciated.

5x 20 maxers is the most popular choice
5x 20/15 max is second most popular

Bowazon is a lame build at level 18 because you can't really duel anyone other than another bowazon.

20 max would give the most damage avg

not sure about nef how thats viewed if its bm but it could be useful in most matchups'

Every level 18 build there is, has a hard counter. Charger is bowazon's hard counter. a good throw barb pilot also has a solid time vs 18 bowa. the only reason your brain goes to this thought is because of how immature the level 18 scene on d2r currently is. everyone is boxing themselves in with melee tours, and the melee nerds like to pretend that the more money you spend the better you actually are, and a cheap bowa shows them otherwise so much so that the majority of that community just hides and refuses to duel. When a level 18 fissure druid that costs 10 bucks to build can smash your prize trophy jabber, that should be a sign that perhaps you should branch out, cause i guarantee you that same 18 jabber can adjust their skill tree in order to actually be competitive vs that cheap lvl 18 fissure, but the melee community is too lazy and has never heard of a token.

This will change someday though, once more random teams tours take place and the item pool grows. lvl 18 bracket is capable of a lot more than the current community believes and as soon as one solid event gets hosted people's minds will be changed.

oh and as a side note? level 18 zvz is easily the most skill intensive level 18 duel. so even if what this clown was saying was the actual truth they are still worth building, way more worth building than clownish melee builds thats for sure.

Ted’s brotha cam does insanely well vs 95% of bowas using a kicksin. I’d say he wins 98% of all duels vs bowas in a sweeping general sense but loses 99% of duels vs too 1% of bowa

Point being that godly kicker is great vs bowa too ^^

Nef is useful against most melee, but is a disadvantage versus chargers.

Melee AKA pay-for-jewels-to-win duels are lamer than bowazon/caster duels, so we can agree there.



Right. If you wake of fire a bowazon, they get stuck and can't move at all.

yeah we did 2v2 that one night and you got my bowa a time or 2, it was fun. people dont realize just how diverse 18s actually are once you start approaching it from a teams aspect. trev is also correct good fast kicker is awesome aswell at 18.
i plan to start my final draft on the 26th for a 18 3v3 tour. might need to wait 1 more week to fund to final prize but could at least get signups going.

are there any classes that are not functional at 18 or is it just what you make of it? kind of interested in a druid setup.
