i wouldnt seperate the "good and bad" players
its mostly about just duelling, so the more the better (imo)

I have alot of stuff scribbled re: tiers. no plans to seperate, just looking for incentives for tier2~tier3 builds. i contemplate running a 2nd KO phase in parrallel with the main one, with tier 2 & tier 3 builds only. (some players will naturally qualify for both ko phases).

mhh why not btw? there are good reasons to split up. its not just about better players, its about generally superior builds which are seeded within previous tournaments.



ye, im aware that youre not getting the real ingenuity of your own idea. as henri mentioned good players can do a maximum of estimated 4-5 duels per tournament then, maybe even just one if they loose their first KO-duel, if not switching to another char to participate in the groupstage. active and interested players will choose another (hopefully inferior) class then, tours will be more fun then and ppl are forced to diversify. as i said: good move.
