I don’t mind the variations to the rules. It would be one thing if the tournaments happened like once every couple years then I think more people would expect a more traditional ruleset but these have been fun.

In reality they’re making people form more LLDs, modify the ones they have.. guest chars out to each other to compete etc.. it’s all around good for our little corner of the game

?! i absolutely loved asylum's b-tier event he had before. it was my favorite tourney ever. you are acting like im a critic or something when i was simply discussing rules.. because the topic was called rule discussion topic?

the first time i discussed rules about the b-tier event and even then i was being treated weirdly by asylum as if i was talking about shit too much, but i feel like the best way to come up with a solid ruleset is through long discussion.

i will be hosting an event for ted and its going to be 1 s tier char per team 2v2, and i welcome any and all knit picking on rules in the topic that will be for discussing rules, because i am not a douche bag and i understand that the more things r discussed then the closer to perfect they will become.


the b-tier event had a really super long discussion topic thread, where me you asyium and trevor were the 4 main contributors to the conversation, and funnily enough that was the best event i took part in, go figure..

once i started being literally flamed for adding my opinions into topics, the events started falling to shit and not one has had more signups that took part since. though michaels fpk tourney was very nice, and funnily enough it was discussed by people without any flaming happening because michael respected my dislike for a 4 class only event.

if you actually think the way asylum has chosen to treat me plays no part in any of this, you need to go re-read the 30 zvz ladder topic. so you can realize that im not the only one who sees how asylum has been treating me over discussing rules in a rule discussion topic.

you're the guy in the group project, where everyone agrees on something after a brief discussion, and then you say "im not against what you guys decided on but i think we should talk about it a lot more". then everyone goes, ok, then you talk for an hour and no real changes are made, and then you say you werent against what the group wanted initially and you were just trying to help people explore all options.

a mountain of discussion to bored ears and criticism are pretty much the same thing. sign up, dont sign up, keep suggestions tight and concise. dont tell people they're delusional if they dont agree with some 4 paragraph far ranging essay you wrote while also tossing shade at anyone who disagrees. it was old 6 months ago, guess what it is now?

you are welcome to your opinion, it's whatever, i am not the only person who sees what is going on and of that i promise you. there is literally nothing wrong with exploring all options, i am guessing i received more A's in school than you did if this is your way of thinking though.
