Shoot sorry about the math guys, but the answer is still no. Also sorry for not knowing the sequence in battle damage calculations but I'm sure glad some one does. I don't claim to know exactly what I'm doing, learning as I go.

What do you do if a charger shows up that has 40 dr/40 mdr/medi? You can't kill him with smite. You can't kill him with foh. You can't outcharge him because he's a charger.

you take no damage from foh, you can't be hit by smite, you have higher rep than they do and you deal 10x their charge damage

Idk dude, it seems like you're setting yourself up for failure

So far I've tested the fallowing

5 sol set up with 1.2k health vs smite at 422-537 (clean) took 25 smiles


5 sol set up with 1.2k health vs smite at 422-537 with 35% cb took 16-20 roughly..

Each were exercised about 8 times.

Foh 500 dmg vs 110 light res (1.2k hp) took 40-50ish to kill

These were exercised 4 times.

Life Rep will be capped at 22*.


Tested,still exploring other balance issues.

So this is the list I have so far regarding the rulings/requirements/bans, also standard lld rules for east apply. Going to probably revise this list a few times.

- Bans
Rockfleece
Peace
Artison's Plate of the Squid
Hybrids/dupes/bug'd items
Max dmg/ar/life small charms
Etheral items without self-repair

- I'm not sure about allowing holy shield prebuff as of now *No prebuffs
- Do not use any item/gear charges.
- Do not use healing pots/rejuv pots/antidote. Only Mana pots (act 1 minor ).
- Do not use Mercs.
- Both the challenger and defender must say "g" before beginning the duel.
- You must have enough strength to pick up your body without switching gear.
- It may be required to show your opponent your gear.
- No use of third party programs.
- Refusal to gmod test, refusal to show inventory/weapon swap, will result in a ban
- No more than 22 Life Replenish is allowed on any character.(this includes stat prayer syngergy)
- No Gold Takers. (or stealing of any type)
- No Naked killing.
- No Ties, first kill wins.
- Towning is infact a loss, accidental or not.
- No extended use of houses.
- Cleansing, meditation, and prayer are all allowed at 1 hard point each.
- Using meditation with synergy from prayer while Fohing is not allowed. 1st time occurrence will be a warning 2nd time it will be a match lost. You may Foh with meditation as long as you don't have Prayer any hard points into prayer.
- No use of any summons.
- Any use of shrines is banned.

- FoH Damage may not exceed 500 damage.
- Charge Damage may not exceed 900 damage. V/t charger variants are only allowed to use Honor for offensive charging. Peace is banned but they are allowed to use crafted blood helm for deadly strike.
- Hammers damage may not exceed 500 damage.

Still working out a good and healthy res amount for light resistance vs Foh/conviction was thinking 140. I have it currently at 110 (no spirit shield).

only thing i see is why limit FOH dmg? i get hammers and charge dmg limits, foh seems counter productive tho. if someone wants to just run and foh synch them and smite them down

Guess you've never vs Cota's vt. Foh damage is suppose to be chip damage, like the rest of the secondary skills for v/t. Any more or less could prove too much or too little damage. This is the # we came up with regarding Foh damage. Only thing I'm trying to regulate now is the stack res for light res.

Limiting dmg and affecting res stack is the same thing from 2 different approaches.

i just dont see the point of limiting foh dmg, it already does very little even with maxed out skills. making it do even less just seems limiting for very little reason to me. if anything it forces the other player to use hammers more. and any format that forces more hammers is to me lame.

You don't see the point , because you simply choose to neglect what im telling you. This has already been tested and explored the only thing atm im trying to figure out is the limit of light res vs Foh at 500 dmg vs a vt with their main being a barb shield( most likely with out light res )

If they wanted to cap more resistance in theory they could switch to their secondary and take the Foh hits with spirit shield on.

Force people to use hammers? :rofl:
