So just get a ref for the remaining duels?
That would be like "i got scammed when i didnt use a med but as soon as i got a med i didnt get scammed, im never trading again..."
It's ruined my attitude towards it as a whole though.
I started up LLD and MLD again for the fun atmosphere. It separates itself from d2 HLD by how GM the m/l ld community is.
I'd rather stick to dueling those who I know I can enjoy dueling with. Some of those people also whoop my ass, and I can learn a lot from them. Difference is, it's all in a friendly, gm, enjoyable (sum: mature) atmosphere.
I just don't think this tournament can provide that, and for that reason, I don't want to participate anymore. I just want to duel with those that match the description above. I like learning and having a good time, that's why I'm here

due to facets being an issue in the past my tournaments have been - whoever died first, lost, its never a draw. in certain instances you can also do an attack knowing you will kill opponent but have a high chance of dying yourself. the rule rewards the player (usually) that is playing offensive.
seperate to this, its normal for things to not go players ways, its happened before and will happen again. the tournaments are never dull in this regard. You guys dont know each other and as such you don't know where you stand with each other. I would urge you to reconsider textbook. note that you were not in the same group as each other for this matchup to have any bearing on the tournament. if it helps you can pretend you just met in a pub duel, completed a ft5 you didnt like, and moved on. pming.
In this sense, it rewarded the defensive player (in this specific duel, no one was playing overly defensive .. but naturally a necro is on the defensive and a sorc is on the offensive)
