the rules used to say that all duels should take place on bridge maps without cube for reasons similar to what you mention - there would be no "narrow alleyway" that would be difficult to access.
If you face similar issues with other opponents, just ask to go on such a map - should solve most problems.

see above from harabec, its everyone right to ask for and be given, a bridge map duel. where both players are happy not to play bridge maps, then fine.

completely seperate to the above:

ANY USER FOUND BMING IN PUB DUELS FACES THE PROSPECT OF BEING BANNED FROM THIS TOURNAMENT. I have said it time and time again, these are GM tournaments, and the players in them should be GM both inside and outside of the tournament. If you find this impossible to do, then fine, but dont expect my sympathy or support.

It's ruined my attitude towards it as a whole though.
I started up LLD and MLD again for the fun atmosphere. It separates itself from d2 HLD by how GM the m/l ld community is.
I'd rather stick to dueling those who I know I can enjoy dueling with. Some of those people also whoop my ass, and I can learn a lot from them. Difference is, it's all in a friendly, gm, enjoyable (sum: mature) atmosphere.
I just don't think this tournament can provide that, and for that reason, I don't want to participate anymore. I just want to duel with those that match the description above. I like learning and having a good time, that's why I'm here :)
