I wish I had LLD on East back in the day.

I was always on West until like 09/10.

I started in like 2002 LLDing in pub games before LLD101. After LLD101 came around, I started making my first real LLDs.

Since I was on West, we always followed all the LLD101 rules, so I had an awesome lvl 29 Conc Barb as my first real LLD. The ones prior were terrible pub LLDs, such as lvl 34 WW Druid with that one 2 handed club.

I started to MLD heavily on West and in 2006 at the top MLD (my old barb). West quickly died after the second ladder reset and LLD/MLD were almost non-existent. I quit, sold everything, and eventually came back on East.

The hate and cliques in LLD is what poisoned D2. West was just full of elitists and actively sought to crap on new people. I eventually got tired of D2, since over the years I've made almost every single build and ran out of new things to create... plus most of my friends from West/East have all quit...

I started in 08' and can remember countless posts of crap being dealt out by David and the misteaks
it was almost like a gauntlet for new guys if you made it through the harassment you were semi accepted. It was good fun
and needed to be taken that way
this section was so active back then topics would disappear from the top page if they weren't bumped all the time.

I remember as a rookie dueling Mikey or Luce or many others, as soon as they'd beat me or others they would start improving
our gear. they'd bring back mules and say here wear this and that and say why. They really built LLding up by spreading
and sharing their knowledge, they wanted the best competition they could get. Those guys did so much for LLD and not just on jsp but as a whole.

Hey bud I have your barbs old name if you ever want it back we can talk You were one of the reasons I started playing lld back in ether 1.09 or 1.10. When you deleted or let your barb expire I grabbed the name. Hes my hld barb I never use anymore.
