i_ecca, the problem with scoreboards is that i need someone that can commit to completing it from start to finnish. its no good to me if its 1/2 done by a single user and then they pull out - no disprespect intended here, but that means I have to do it all myself. both in this tournament and for previous tournaments, players did try to help but unfortunatly they had time contraints and were not able to finnish.

if you, or anyone else, can commit to completing the scorecard thoughout the KO phase of this tournament, i would of course appreciate it. At the end of the tournament I will see if I can get volunteers for assisting in the next tournament.

note that I am recording a 5-3 hagan vs atek, unless other information is provided. im going over the chart at the moment.

I am tempted to run with dyl4nd0u's suggestion re: duels not completed, TKO wins getting only 5 points. it might encourage players in future to complete all duels in a timely fashion and it wont skew the scorecard as much as multiple 10 point awards would.

i cant see if my suggestion was interpreted correctly: i'd count all completed match-outcomes in. so if a player beats another one 5-4, he gets 6 pts. if the player resigns (due to inactivity for example) all incompleted matches are rated with 5 pts. so if someone has won vs. that player he will reward pts, if he has lost the match he'll loose some. every match may have a opportunity to reward and loose pts, regardless of the continuance of the opponent player.

I would rather reward players for completing all their duels. what you are proposing is to simply records the same score, and I dont want to reward players who have not completed all their duels equally to those that completed all their duels. I will always give an incentive and reward to those players that have completed all (or most) of their duels. With the % of duels not complete so high, I will always have this policy.

The scorecard looks like this (see below), I was at pains to ensure that TKO's did not fundamentally alter the current scorecard. Note that this is not the end of the group stage, it is an update by me to show how I intend on nulling//tko'ing certain users. I would encourage everyone to please contact all their outstanding opponents. if you are not getting a reply then please post in the topic sothat I am fully aware of the situation.

In relation to the pictures below, the numbers in brackets ( ) are 5 points per TKO. Players can still complete some or all of their outstanding duels in order to either qualify for the tournament or to increase their score.

update: atek555 pulled out (less then 10 duels completed) so I will have to do another update again

Tour Update:

Atek555 pulled out, as did Sliky and Taugenixx. As all three users had not completed a minimum of 10 duels, I have simply removed their results from the scorecard.

In relation to all outstanding duels, please note the following:

The group stage ends on friday, yes this friday. I would ask everyone that still has duels to complete to contact your opponents asap and arrange a time to complete the FT5. In relation to the below graphs, please note the following: As both addesmile and biochi joined the tournament late I will not penalise any user that has not dueled them. I asked both users to complete as many duels as they could (and I will repeat this - please try to complete as many duels as you can if you wish to qualify for the KO stage). I have otherwise tended to reward the players that have been the most active. guys, im not infallible here, if I have missed a score, or if you feel you deserve a TKO vs a certain player, please let me know before friday. This post is being sent to all entrants. I took great pains to ensure that any points awarded to players would not fundamentally change the final rankings. I have awarded 5 points for a TKO on this basis (and zero points for a null duel).

A reminder that the KO phase is a last 16.

1 vs 16
8 vs 9
3 vs 14
6 vs 11

2 vs 15
7 vs 10
4 vs 13
5 vs 12

pming to all users.

complicated, overloaded, arbitrary.

the first three words comming to my mind. no offense. anyways, i understand your point. what about 5pts for incomplete (tko, null, etc.) and lost matches, 6-10pts for wins? completing a match can only be profitable this way, it still advances good+active players.

€: i see its not too crucial this time, but maybe one should think over it next time. huhu
