I think they prefer str with no dex. because you get 3 suffixes only.

1. min dmg
2. str (needed to str bug + equip ashwood)
3. dex OR life rep OR life

Of these liferep is the clear winner, and you can get more +life than the dex will offer you in "pts saved". PLUS most zons put all pts after gear into dex afaik.

then on the prefix side you get +mana and resistences.

I personally would prefer 6 dex on rings because euro's are retards with retarded rules (I made 49 rules, i am in no way involved in 30 rules, that was other people!)
for the record, i dislike both of my rings (below)> i think i mentioned previously that i have let multiple iterations of my 30 ama expire over the years...oh the things we do...
