Question - Why is LLD preferred over MLD or HLD?

Imo,
Mld is less common because it’s less common... if that makes sense lol...

HLD is fun,
People play it, it involves a lot of HR’s, charms, and big numbers.

LLD is imo funner,
People play it, it involves charms and god tier rares, and a huge value of knowledge to know max mods per lvl. I find it fuuun

1) its mostly cheaper. if you compare a perfect inventory of hld vs lld, the price isnt even close. same for the rares/crafts. our best rare will sell for 5k. the best rare in hld will be 10-20k.

2) its a refreshing change from enigma meta where people teleport for 90% of the duel.

3) more characters are viable. in hld, there are the 4 fpk characters and the occasional paly/bowzon, but beyond that i havent seen anything else win a tournament. sin has a huge advantage.

4) our community is tighter. we have the occasional toxicity (usually from the same handful few), but hld is really another level. huge egos. lld is more relaxed.

5) duels are slower paced because the meta isnt filled with people capping their fcr frames and teleporting to move around. most our characters actually have to run to chase people.

as for mld, it was somewhat popular a decade ago when i played, but because of lot of their items are shared with hlders, prices are jacked up. and the duels are over much faster because the dmg is similar to hld, but we dont have cta and 50 more levels to triple your hp.

You really think the best rare Lld items will sell for 5k? Off the top of my head I can think of a dozen Lld items that sold for double that in the final year of a dying og d2.

ive been offered 80k for single items in LOD for lld.. 5k is for common rare items ( like what Kyushu Uses )
