nah that was a magic one, and iirc u gave it to me for free.

the rare head came from Justin, and was also free.

i forgot about that magic one when it rerolled to NL and it poofed, and it was a 1 pnb lvl 18 one.

yeah, in that case you'd only be getting an upgrade from one of the classic OG's who had a 5 spear still around most likely, unless you were hurting for resists somewhere. and for some reason i'm thinking the +2 class was lvl 26 or so in older patches, so i'm not even sure you'd get a 5 spear at 24

i know that some imported items have +2 tab skills on ammys with lvl 11, such as the one on west with +2 druid and stats:

on east other than Imp Brow i know of no other +2 ammys, although i have a few +1 class skill ammys


its been too long since i looked that shit up on classic, but i thought i remembered +2 tab skills being usable on wands. either way there are either none left, or more likely 1-2 left but not for sale and i'd never find who has them anyways haha

the imported stuff had those level requirements because thats what the people who made them put there (or was the lvl req of a rare item they used as their base to edit)

i was looking at stuff like viper bludgeon, gale thirst, rune dart, etc... for the +2 class and I can't think of any of those that were lvl 24 or lower.

It was a 1 nec magic, possibility of 2soc.. shame you let it rip... that same ladder I sold a lvl 18 one to someone in hgh guild and he got it 2soc

I had a 1nec 3spear head on eu too but rip pretty much all of my 24 gear haha. At least I have most of my libby left.

oh shit lol i forgot about the +2 barb swords and +2 bows.

only saving grace is the lvl req (currently) for class items is handled differently than non-class items. So a +1 pally bone shield will be rLvl 29 but a +1 pally pally shield is rlvl 24. could be that back in the day exes and bows were higher level req for +2 skills than wands (which even though they aren't class required items are "class items" for necros the same way staffs are "class items" for sorcs). i think all melee weps are considered barb class items, and all bows zon class items, as far as lvl req changes go.



ahh ya then i goofed up, still like my rare with the MDR roll, and lvl 24 sockets aren't that impressive of options. i'd likely put 2x eth runes tbh.

false, all 12 of my fully built 24s have been tested.

spent many hours playing them ahead of the 18-24 tourney that never took off. Hours with Atomic mostly, but also Cam, Ulm, Rikkid, and a few others. As well as some Euros who playtested them.

Still never got my dream of a full lvl 24 TvT, best we got was 2v2s.
