they had a few problems, so i ref'd this for you fer.

Was 5 Majority (nec) - 1 textbook (es fb) - group 1

however there is a slighly problem - i started to ref at 3-0
and these 2 are not in the same group?

5-2*

2/3 first duels were disputed by me, and the last duel was a draw (1 kill for each, or rematch?)

unfortunately who ever dies first, loses.
however, the duel will probably not stand anyway since you guys were not in the same group.

Like I said, I can't seem to find this rule.

And as for the sake of being argumentative: The first 3 duels were disputed heavily, if you throw them away (all 3 wins by necro) you get the following:

Duel 4: Win by Textbook (1/2hp left)
Duel 5: Win by Necro (necro has 100ish hp left)
Duel 6: Both die

Duels were MUCH closer.
Since we're not even in the same group I guess it doesnt matter - but a rematch should be made that is 100% ref'd. As soon as the duels were being ref'd, the gameplay changed to become much inline with the rules.

Unfortunately, this one duel (not even in the same group) ruined this tournament for me.
I'm not going to tele down an alley way of synch'd spirits to "maintain distance" to the necro when he's the one being overly defensive down the alleyway to replife.
When we got a ref and that style of play stopped, the duels were close and intense.
The entire duel and discussion that followed has completely turned me off to this tournament.

Good luck to everyone participating - will eagerly await to see the top 5 finishers !

So just get a ref for the remaining duels?

That would be like "i got scammed when i didnt use a med but as soon as i got a med i didnt get scammed, im never trading again..."

due to facets being an issue in the past my tournaments have been - whoever died first, lost, its never a draw. in certain instances you can also do an attack knowing you will kill opponent but have a high chance of dying yourself. the rule rewards the player (usually) that is playing offensive.

seperate to this, its normal for things to not go players ways, its happened before and will happen again. the tournaments are never dull in this regard. You guys dont know each other and as such you don't know where you stand with each other. I would urge you to reconsider textbook. note that you were not in the same group as each other for this matchup to have any bearing on the tournament. if it helps you can pretend you just met in a pub duel, completed a ft5 you didnt like, and moved on. pming.
