From what I know there isnt a cap to stack res, but should there be vs conviction and cold? I thought there was one, sorry for my ignorance

Definitely no cap vs conviction. Conv was banned for the longest time unless actively fohing, just cause it’s so insanely op with trap or sorc. Esfb can already 1vs4 any team... giving them conv and not allowing people to stack against it is a really bad idea.
I’d be all for a 65% res cap vs cold mastery but it makes gear choices very hard.. if you have a gg ring that has all the mods you want but pushes your Cr to 70% after mast for example it would make the ring unusable.. kind of lame and just wouldn’t really work imo, nobody is gonna say no to a godly ring just cause it puts them at 68% cold res
