cota/me/you/graffiti are literally it. everyone else is either charging into zons on libby to do their part in tvt, or dying at the end of the tvt after having hit literally no one with their awful hammer placement. it usually takes the zon player 3 duels to be able to get the message across that din needs to protect them before any of the other dins even do their job properly.

pvp ladders are just dead in general rn, they aren't an indicator of the amount of people in the player base tho. d2ga has tons of ppl in hld playing every day, and lld101 is full multiple times a day with over 4 other ppl in 9-30 duels. the only thing less ppl being in ladders means is that the competitive player base has lessened, and the reason for that is the fact that d2 is 15+ yrs old and those kinds of players have mostly moved on.

sorry if you felt like i didn't believe that what you were saying wasn't factual, my argument was actually that it shouldn't have been the case that was all, i wasnt challenging your memory or anything like that.

as a side note could u possibly link me to some old lld ladders? im seriously interested because during the time period they were happening i was only using legit dueling for hld pvp ladders and i wasn't a competitive llder at all. im pretty sure people were talking shit about me for like 3+ yrs before i even knew this sub existed. :Rofl:
and zons being limited to 120 frw is like stubbing their toe aswell but theyd still feel they were being crippled. same w/ es sorc being limited to 65 block.

last thing id say is LLD has shifted from 1v1 to tvt. and prayer hdins cant l8z as much in tvt. lots of rules back then were more geared to the 1v1 meta, and the fact "refs" were never used. so calling out a l8z din was just a chore. especially when we were all angsty teens.
