I'm not going to ban clay golem or zon KBin this tourney

disclaimer: I do not think that I am making the rules for east, I do not care which rules apply in general duels. But at the end of the day I am hosting this specific tourney so I have to have the final say which is unfortunate for me, but I will say no ban on clay golem on zon KB.

My reasons being:

barb has advan over nec. they out-dps them by a longshot, nobody can deny that. One could argue that without tele the necro has advantage but... 1. it's the barb's choice to not use tele if he is not skilled enough..... and if he happens to have lag....he still has 200% frw vs a necros 120% average. Choose. either tele and own every nec every time... or get 200%+ frw and go at least 50-50 with necs... I mean at the end of the day barbs have the capability of teleing.. just because someone feels that they are too shitty to handle tele/ww doesnt mean the rules should change for them...

same goes for zon tbh. ask any zon who has faced BrothaGoo, KB does not save them. I feel that euro has had a serious lack of top 1 level barbarians if they feel like kb can stop them. KB helps, yes, but any single person in the history of D2 who has dueled someone like BrothaGoo zon vs BArb will tell you that KB is not only a luxury but a necessity that barely helps them make it 50-50.

top top tier barbs >zon and nec. the rules shouldn't change to allow shitty zon who can't adapt to keep up... banning clay golem and kb would be a step in the wrong direction
... perhaps those who think otherwise are simply not top tier barbs

I was gonna say this, but if it came from me meegz and melatonin would have had a fit.

its more about the meta evolving around banned tele sticks.

im sure twinsen on a tele barb on EU would do quite well with their rules, even if you stripped them of all advantages they got for being FRW based chars.

i dont have a fit until you start saying supremely stupid shit, usually stuff thats factually wrong.

i also freely admit my bias in that i look at bvn specifically from a no-tele standpoint. from a no-tele standpoint, letting necs use clay golem is a supremely bad idea. i was around, using my necro and my barb when it was still common to use clay golem, which is well before tele was a thing on anything but a sorc. it did nothing but turn the matchup into a joke duel for the nec in most cases.

i'll say it this way: rudi is exceptionally good on both barb & nec, and he doesn't use tele. against most people on frw setups, i can pull roughly 50/50 from either side. i cant with him unless he's getting dicked by ping. but, you let me use clay golem on nec against him on barb, and he is going to have a bad day. and from the other side of that, if he was using golem against me on barb, i would have absolute zero chance. yet again, this is my perspective from someone who plays both as purely frw, no tele. tele obviously changes that matchup to strongly favor the barb

i understand the meta changed regarding the staves, i just dislike it. so i dont use it. i do appreciate and understand (pretty well) what it does though.
