Mage is ofc more lame than V/t. ^^

" foh abuse " -> this is really subjective.
Well, When you feel that your opponent is only synching around you and casting foh time to time, without trying to charge/smite, that's foh abuse.
This feeling is not valid for every match up but the tentation is strong to only use foh for v/t. espcially for unskilled players.

Is hard to fight vs v/t.. u need dr, max res, stacked res, skill and creativity. Is also not easy to use it effective it took some time (years for someone).

Kuki, I dont understand your reluctance to use DR vs either a V/T or a Barb, its your choice and you have to deal with the results of your gear selections. also, if you are using 130 light res, it means you have not outstack the conviction aura. DerPate can correct me here but, I believe you need 145 Light res. Now, i dont know what that missing 15 resistance will do in terms of damage, but you simply cannot argue against losing when you are not wearing the right gear. get 155 light res on both slots just to be sure.

I'm not saying that you would win vs him, im merely stating that you were not using optimal gear vs your opponent resulting in his hits causing more damage thus killing you quicker and reducing the time you have to figure out how to combat vs him. you didnt have either optimal res or optimal dr, so effectively you were dueling with lower life.

its the same with vs perz, he quit after 2-0 vs me @ lld, i gave him practice rounds after the FT5 and he figured out what he had to do. I know everyone hates foh but come on, give the build a chance. its a toned down version and it is killable.

Kuki, I really like you in these tournaments, so talk to derpate, try different setups and get some more practice vs him sothat you will know for next time what to do.

Erm, I'm really annoyed by this whole argue, so let me just to say about all this shortly ferdi ^^

1. No need dr, I was smited by derpate ONCE in all 5 duels if i remeber correctly. Except then this - I was fohed to death. So more res/dmg/mana is better by far.
2. I had 160 lr prepared, but derpate said that he have -110 with conv, so I just used 130. Don't worry, I had enough stack

I'm up for more practice if possible. At first bowas were hard for me also, but now I can do vs them pretty nice
But gear was selected properly, it was not the issue

But still, I don't like foh ^^ Even if you play perfectly vs him you will loose 3/4 life, so it's luck dependent at best
It's not issue with deprate personally tho, I have nothing against him.

And for OT:
about dr vs barb, I today tested with harabec no vigor / no dr / no conc setup, and still it ws 50 : 50.
With dr + vigor + 30dr every pala can just slam every barb^^
I don't have any problem with dr, I'm just no using it when it's no sense to use it
