Barb will only out speed you if you're being greedy with life SCS. I think that matchup is just a skill issue for trapper. Particularly when you consider trap dmg at the moment lol. Generally speaking though, I think name lock WW with high frw is too strong and lazy. Much like shift charge. It's so easy to tele and keep clicking the middle of your screen to stay on them until they're dead. Not nearly as skill based as 2.3 barb who had to really think of their WW patterns in order to secure their kills.
I haven’t ran the numbers on frw loss from sanders vs frw gain from charms + gores. However core concept is the same in that a mobile barb that sticks is much more dangerous than one who simply hit hard but is slow and gets kited.
Another tricky thing is that new leap avoids traps. Barb can now survive through trap field much easier now than before by leveraging leap at right times. Once trap field is gone, trapper must place new traps (pausing to do so) and evade ww at the same time. If barb is smart and mobile, they will capitalize on this.
