then it got amended so that the A tier cbow zon could be used in a b tier event, and even after the ammendment, the rule was no guided.

frozen arrow could still be used, magic arrow etc, with a bow, so the rule was definitely not no BOWS.

Also i'd like to add that that zon hits like a truck so its damage more than makes up for its fpa. i've watched trev and andy both dominate tvts with that zon against people who are high tier players all they had to do was adjust their play style to staying farther back than usual, and other than that it played literally the same as the banned character. Anyone with half a brain agreed with me during the event that the char was unfair to be allowed in it if other guided arrow zons were banned. esp in the hands of literally the best zon player. it was stupid to allow it.

U said ga was banned i simply said no ga was allowed with bows. I looked back the rule literally read as I wrote it above.

She is indeed a tvt dominator but b tier was 1v1. I don't think it was all that over powered. It was just a good build in the allowed chars and in the hands of Andy it performed well.

From a meta standpoint if no xbow was allowed trappers would go unchecked

charger owns trapper if you aren't completely inept. and i was the only trapper in the whole event and i got dodged by so many ppl that even tho i had the 2nd most points per duel out of anyone in the entire event i still didn't place, it wasn't needed to check sin, clearly. and saying stupid shit like it gets beat by a din with charge or zeal or w/e is just ignorantly supporting a char that was banned for a reason, because regular bowas lose to those too...

she is just as good in 1v1 as in tvt.. literally it is the same as the banned zons, it shoots slower but hits harder, and the jav side works the exact same as the banned chars jav side, the only difference is you just need to create a bit more distance than a regular bowa to do the exact same thing that they do but hit harder...

so from a meta standpoint, no it wasnt needed to check the 1 trapsin in the event because all the ppl dodging me did that on its own, plus there was chargers and zealers in the event, and if you havent played sin i understand you not knowing, but zeal shits on trap. and more importantly than from a meta standpoint, from a common sense standpoint it should have not been allowed. it was a way to allow andy to play the character he is #1 on and is one of the best s-tier players on it and marle is s-tier so no it wasnt as crazy as had he used marle but it was def NOT b-tier.

to those who are wondering why im bothering to debate with snipa, for 1 i love debating shit with him because he has a brain and a lot of d2ers dont. but most importantly i do plan on going through shit with danz and setting up another b tier tourney almost exactly like the last one, but with the stupid loophole breaking zon not allowed, like it shouldn't have been. andy can shit on ppl with his nova zon dont need to give him an A tier char.

yeah man im so upset about it, because im sitting here talking about having another b-tier tourney because it was the most fun i have had since i started playing again over a year ago, such a lasting effect lmao...

cmon man you are smarter than this, you know that a smart zon player can adjust and make it almost exactly the same char as a regular bowa... fucking andy runs around shitting on ppl with a lvl 25 zon just to prove this point.. if it ticks the boxes which yes that x bow zon does, then it is good as fuck in the right hands. hence it wasnt b tier and had no place in a b tier event.

its like if they had made hammers allowed but only with 50 fcr instead of 125, you think people would have gone for that? no. so why allow a slower bowa if a slower hdin isnt allowed?

I am here to say that crossbow zons are not as good as bow zons

i think i have two responses, 1 zon is good but still a tier not s tier. so eliminating bow ga zons and requiring xbow gets them just down enough to where im ok with them in b tier. are they still good? and still at the top of the allowable chars? yes. but that would be like complaining if people only choose s tier chars in an s tier tourney, in any tourney a bunch will take the best of what the rules allow. secondly your posts come off like there was collusion involved to hand it over to andy. i bought the xbow after searching for 5 years for it, i made the char, trev helped upgrade it, and andy piloted it. all done completely seperate from Asylum setting up the tourney, not even a convo back and forth. asylum made the tourney at the same time it was being tested in game, and so allowed it. the b tier tourney was an experiment above all else anyways just to see what happens if u get s tier out of the way. it gets blurry after you take hdins, sorcs, and ww out of the meta. u could argue bowa zons are s tier, but i think this is due to players like andy and trev playing it so damn well for so many years. i still think its solid a, and xbow is B+.



well for one hdins synch invisiibly onto you and get hammers invisibly on your screen regardless of FCR bp. not exactly apples to apples.

i agree, they are A tier and bow zon is S tier. if you honestly think differently then i say in the next b tier event we allow 35 fcr hdin since its not as good as 125 fcr hdin. if people are cool with that then we can allow the xbow zon. cause its literally the same scenario, only with a dif char. gm events should not favor 1 class over another.
