a zon on ladder in 2008 was shit for like 3 months. even with 100k fg u couldnt find gear, especially charms.
same for sorcs on charms, plus es = no insight. so no one ran ES on ladder except certain matchups or u could cast if u got your life pool slammed early. since everyone use es insight staffs to have both options.
barb was shit until mid ladder, no robo jewels, no charms, etc. people use blood letter and honor zwei.
and still i was near top or top of ladder on a budget din with no hard pt many ladders, and im not even good. hdin is tier 1 no matter the rules, u could make hdin lvl 29 with zero rep and they'd still be a tier.
ok so it was like that on ladder, in 2008. so you have accounted for 1/2 of the dueling pools of 1 yr out of a 6 yr period. still seems bogus to me. yes paladins are able to be dope for cheap, doesnt mean they should have been crippled alone, they are a good novice character for new llders to learn on, and when you cripple the only affordable character for noobs to learn on thats when your player base drops, which i guess is why more ppl are llding now than did back then.
i agree with how europe has done it over the yrs, and how we do it now. you either cripple everything like europe, or cripple nothing like us.

My issue with this is nobody knows how to even use a hdin but like 3 people and that’s including me and kyushu.
cota/me/you/graffiti are literally it. everyone else is either charging into zons on libby to do their part in tvt, or dying at the end of the tvt after having hit literally no one with their awful hammer placement. it usually takes the zon player 3 duels to be able to get the message across that din needs to protect them before any of the other dins even do their job properly.
