I guess we just look at it differently.
If I wanted to waste $40 I would grab a pair of those. The metal value isn't much more than $20 because it costs about as much to remove the gold as the gold is worth. But god damn they are gorgeous

And in my eyes that's a waste, I know you like rocks/gems/coins though. As long as we are getting enjoyment out of our money I think it's money well spent! Having a pimped out all purple barb is something I've wanted, and now he is pretty great! (for a joke char, still nothing compared to a real barb but he can kill some stuff)

Baby_Fetus is a necro that I made with an irl buddy of mine back in 1.10. He stopped playing many years ago, and I've kept it around. Will made some serious upgrades with the help of the good people round these parts, and here is how he sits today. Special shoutout to Trevor, he knows what necromancers love. One day I'll remember to pick up an eth rune for the rare shield so I won't have a ton of extra/useless stats on it.
