If you're taking the Sigon route (which you should be) then it's certainly an option, I'd rather go for a -15 req/def jewel though.
A good amount of def to get on a VBSOD is 40, whereas Sigon has 25, but you're adding to +Skills anyway.
But... one problem with this setup is that you will need alot more dex for max block, and also Sigon is heavy so you'd be losing some FRW (if you like to run alot).

and I'd like to ask you:
