i understand your concern but i just feel like the actual hard lined level cap restricts some creativity so newcomers will always make the status quote OP chars. If you have individual caps by class then that opens the door to much more possibilities.

This project might not even really yield much of a difference but thats why i want to actually take it to the testing phase

I say the cap is moved to lvl19 based on voting/opinion of the community and should be revoted on if you find that a different lvl is more balanced. Vouch. It gets boring to always see palas, bowas, fissures, dt barbs and necs at 18 (specially palas). If we let some builds go to 19-20 to be more competitive instead of just a fun pub killer, why not? Would be nice to see maulers, cs zons and more sorcs pop up on tvts. I dont expect them to kill chargers for example, but yes to give some troubles to cookie cutter builds.

Im going to change my vote to no. If we could somehow ensure that this change wouldnt trickle over into other classes and dueling brackets id stick to my original vote (19).....but i dont believe this is possible.

look at all the ppl making odd ball lvls anyway 15's 21's 24's. People have pretty much been doing whatever the hell they want since the new patch. I don't think it matters anymore to be honest.

Well i have been never for making OP chars more OP

I think as long as the majority of known 18 duelers make a comprimise on certain under dog builds then it shouldnt be much of an issue.

this is for particularly the lvl18 dueling community which as far as I can tell has strayed away from using lvl19 sorcs because they were viewed as unnacceptable. this was merely an intel gathering espeition to see what the general response would be to branching out within accepted gm lvl18 rules.
