Tournament Update!

The Group Stage has now officially ended. Well done to everyone involved! We had 2 Players with a character scoring over 150 Points (Harabec #1 and Chum #2) and 9 Characters in total with over 100 Points (Harabec (3), Chum (2), Ferdia (2), Hore_to_the_t (1) & Googh (1)). 1 Character (Chum) completed 20 duels and 16 players completed 15 or more duels. 11 different builds competed, 10 qualifed for the KO stage and 7 got over 100 points. Really impressive. Special recognition to Harabec who achieved both the 1st spot in the group phase AND attained over 100 points with 3 seperate classes (Barb, Trap and Nec) I completed 55 FT5's between Bow, Shape, Ghost and Trapper.

What happens in a final with 2 chars of the same player ?

I guess they both duel

Thats part of why I didnt allow a 3rd character for any player to reach the KO phase. I deemed it too much of a reward for strong players to get a walk + a potential finals walk. Based on the results in the group phase, there is a real possibility that Harabec will reach the final with BOTH of this characters. In such an eventuality he will be the outright winner of the tournament, and BOTH of his characters can share the spoils. Its worth noting that between his Barb and Nec he has played 34 FT5's, Winning 30 Matches and Losing only 4. Those stats on their own should be proof that should he make the finals he didnt do it based on any level of "luck" and is deserving of the title of the overall winner of this tournament.

I would much rather see a final, as would we all. I believe some irish user has offered a 100fg reward to the person that knocks out one of Harabec's characters.
