Don't make any limit on gear/skills use (on sorc side), don't allow barb to teleport also.
But then limit dueling area to one screen. Easy to do with 2 walls and few mana potions (you more or less need to mark corner - that should be enough).
Barb have chance to catch sorc then, but at the other side sorc with great skill still can be almost untouched.

seems like a good idea. just an idea. i like my idea to implement a general lame rule. that would include a rule which forces sorcs to be offensive vs. barbs. if they lame, stay offscreen etc. they will be punished or banned.
sorcs can even win at midrange. ask lee, hellskin, toni etc. you do not need to stay offscreen to win vs. a baba. thats it with bowas. when bowas just do the onscreen-dodging, you can beat barbs with moderate frw even more effectively.
fer learned that tac ive seen. and it is definitely(!) effective. never won vs. fer after he mastered again.
