it forces everyone to try to score as highly as possible to avoid being paired with the top seeded players. it rewards the top seeded players for their efforts during the ko phase. if you look at some of the early tournaments you will notice that the ko phase was done differently and I gave lower seeded players a better chance at progressing. However, it was successly argued in certain quarters that I was not rewarding the top seeded players properly, hence the more recent tournament ko phases adopting this setup.
edit: yes thats exactly how it used to be. i liked that setup as well. times change.
edit: untrue, i dont win every group stage and in some tournaments i dont think i even got out of the group stage.
No its not, you forced me to complete all my duels witch made me #12 on list if i dident i would be #13 and i would have won vs Peter ofc so its your fault i lost

No it cant, i won the first 2 cuz he was clueless wat to do then he finaly found a clue and won 5-0
