Since I like theocrafting and there was some in this topic, I'll put my 5¢ here also in "barb vs sorc" topic
I would say:
Don't make any limit on gear/skills use (on sorc side), don't allow barb to teleport also.
But then limit dueling area to one screen. Easy to do with 2 walls and few mana potions (you more or less need to mark corner - that should be enough).
Barb have chance to catch sorc then, but at the other side sorc with great skill still can be almost untouched.
Easy, isn't it?
