my friend has a 1barb/350+ ed one? might be more ed, i dont recall..

also, pretty sure there was a couple 2 soc ones posted by some hlder's

east is pretty shit for mld hlb's, although there are some very good legend swords i've seen. Mambo has 20 ias 261 ed 14 max fools (30ed/15 ias socket for 35ias/291ed) so i would love to be able to pick up the one i posted for him, but last c/o of 6k means won't happen lol

the best sword(s) are on east - fools and pure damage, 2 sox. that imp saw is v nice

Most of you remember I sold my first build vs 31k fg(that deserves trophy post right there). Used that fg to finish two builds and now I have rebuilt my conc barb a different way.
Wanted to try a high life/survivability route. Always wanted to use SoE on my conc barb for 15%dr but losing 65 stat points without IK is a lot(nearly 500 life after BO).
Only real way to make SoE conc barb build work is to go as low strength as possible. So here it is. I have 2 dex too much all from gear and I'm 2 str short from dumping all points in vitality.
There is no cube/stash buffing. That is my life once I BO with warcry side.



I feel like my damage is a little low so I may eventually swap out jewels for xx-xxdamage/4th mod and sacrifice some life but they're going to take time to acquire.
edit/ After I duel with him a few times I'm still debating to move this knout and the one I bought from McNulty to make a knout bvc. Currently like my hybrid throw/ww poon bvc though.

still not sure. you lose a good chunk of damage going this route since str=ed and some defense but I have about 2.9k life and 15% dr now. Haven't actually dueled with him yet so not sure.
Would like to try it out against GTs conc barb or jim's zealor now and see how I do.

first version is still in sig to compare stats. I trade like 290 avg damage/3k def/500 ar for 400life/15%dr.
defense has diminishing returns so 12k compared to 15k isn't a big lose. it's more trading damage for survivability.
Changing jewels around would bring stats closer together. If I drop the stats in jewels and aim for xx-xx damage jewels they would start to be more similar in terms of damage/life.
I figured more life means SoE is being used more efficiently since it negates damage on more attacks.

Yeah SOE is op on mellee, both setups were nice none or less gg barb
