pick is going to beat war axe in avg dps, its 5 avg dmg difference with 1 frame ias difference. the war axe will edge out the first hit per duel due to the range but the pick speed makes up for it. this is all just numbers speaking, because at the end of the day it''ll come down to crit luck, min-max luck, block luck, hit/miss luck. but purely from a dps standpoint, the war axe will likely get the first hit but the military pick is going to do more dps

Conc v conc faster weapon is trash. Mana is an issue for conc v conc at lvl 18 duels. I’ve tested both through the years. Not saying pick is bad but war axe>. War axe hits 1 frame less, abs it actually hits more than war pick with a faster frame, it’s ironic but that’s what I’ve experienced through the years.

Can't you get a few DTM and be good to go? Mana is important, but I'd prioritize dps over mana in a melee duel.

Get plenty of dtm from gelics. Problem is in conc v conc there are times where either one doesn’t land a hit for a good 5 seconds, both out of mana and dtm isn’t proccing.
