I think by december your playing field will be like this:

tele windy (maybe)
hdin
sorc
charger (using gc's)
spirit sword trapper

very very few rare item dependent chars or melee charm dependent

i dont see a problem with that tbh. even if its only 4 players, why not start early? it creates interest in the bracket, maybe bring in alot of new and old blood etc.
if some monster wants to turn up with a full invent of 3/20/15's or 15/12's thats OK too! (i have x1 15/11?)

mostly bring that up in reference to rule discussion, if you're trying to balance just worry about what's realistically going to be around

at the very least 15 life charms will be in large supply.

while it will suck to be a barb / bowa (nevermind shaper), casters should be able to life with those invents.
but your right, no real "need" to balance from the get go but its good to have a reference point. we dont need to see 30+ Repl anymore @ lld.

What about resolution scaling in the options and screen aspect ratio? Lot of people playing on 16:10 screens nowadays, will they have more screen real estate or did they fix this?
My apologies if I am grossly misinformed here ^^

fixed as i understand it.

Do you have more info this? For example I play on 16:10 now if they 'fixxed' it, did they do this by zooming in a little, so I am actually loosing screen real estate?
