which is very very unlikely. however I can say you will find decent things, like occy, shako, titans, tal ammy/armor. in regular bnet server, theyre worthless due to their endless supply because the server is heavily botted, but on classic legit servers like Slash, theyre worth their weight in gold (mal to vex each). these things sell very very fast and are very common compared to super rare stuff like arach/ohm+. on slash, jah and ber rune go for like 5-7 ohm runes each. the shittiest of sorc and paly torch also sell for at the very least vex to ohm rune each.

not to say that these will be exactly their prices, but id bet good money prices on early d2r will be more similar to slash than they will be to actual bnet. because people actually grind for their gear instead of relying on several bots.

All it ever did was hurt players who couldn’t afford better gear so basically people with 100’s of more mana than you would be an advantage if you ran out before them.

Early lld I always used mana pots cause it made no sense I had to be crippled since you could afford the pricey items and I couldn’t.

Literally the only thing it should have been banned on is es sorcs.

I obviously don’t need them anymore as I use characters that don’t have mana issues now but in the beginning I always thought it was the dumbest rule

I'd just run places that are easy to get to quickly and have either a super unique or high mob density. Don't go higher than 250% mf if looking for rares explained by feanur here. Cows, a2 tombs, Travincal, Chaos Sanctuary, Fridgid Highlands WP (Eldritch and Shenk), and Pindle have always been nice. All very easy to get to/no searching and all have a little boss or high density. Andy and Meph are both nice too of course if you don't mind sometimes taking a while to find them. I personally prefer just non stop killing stuff and less time searching for the destination. Andy is especially nice for jewels and jewelry although I haven't looked into whether or not her mlvl in nm restricts any lld mods.
