The point of not allowing PLR is youre countering an entire build.

Its not like you can counter a hammerdin, ww barb, or bowzon by putting on 15% DR.

PLR on boots / amulet isn't a "counter" it's a strategy for an otherwise absurd amount of unavoidable damage. The idea to remove swaps from a tourney is one of the dumbest things I've heard as far as rules for one.

I wasn't even thinking about hawkmail and hotspurs, obviously, just your normal swap boots/amulet with PLR

The point I'm getting at is whats the difference using hotspurs versus a firewall sorc who does absurds amount of damage?

Its avoidable, dont get hit. Its not like hammers or GA or spirits that can go invisible.

I know what point you were trying to make and yes poison jav does desynch and go invisible like GA / hammer.

If there was a way to reduce hammer and GA damage, people would have swaps for 1v1 vs those chars as well but there aren't so they can't...if you don't like that, don't make a fucking plague zon.

I can't believe I'm even needing to argue this, thought it was common sense...why is PLR so expensive if you can't even use it? lmk

e/ think about how dumb it sounds saying "if you don't use the PLR amulet / boots you bought 100% of the time you can't use them at all"

If you’re buying worse gear because it has plr that’s on you

If you have to swap to beat a plaguer honestly I think your build is trash.

It’s pretty easy to main gear and have HFD and 25%+ plr without swaps
