yeah blizzard tried to make chars choose (such as they do in WoW) but failed. damage skills are required, tank skills are largely underpowered, and utility skills are either godly or useless.

sorcs got sick dps, the best tank skill in ES, and the best utility skill in tele.

barbs and pallys good in all 3. zons ok in all. necros bad movement good rest.

druids got fucked pretty hard.


id love to teleport back to 2009 and somehow make more standard LLD rules that stuck. but i'd just get called a faggot and nk'd out of the game more than likely. we werent so accepting of rules back then, either.

I still think the real issue is the duelers themselves.. unfortunately

LLD looked very different pre 1.09. Barbs were capped at 24 and sorcs were 29. Zons were lower at lvl 18 (then they creeped to 21, then to 27). But zons had a lot of potential to be broken because this was before pierce was nerfed. Arrow pierce + crit was dirty.
Anyways along the way, the community suggested lvl 30 across the board, and that was fine at first because the average player had shit gear.
