Lol, so yes I understand what a contradiction is. To help you with your confusion though imagine running a set up with 10 sol runes. Even if you proc'd amp guess what, your smite isn't going to be doing much dmg vs 70 dr and 15% dr. This has been tested and ruled to 5 Sol runes 35 dr is a stable number, but seems 7 is still in question.

DR% and DR X are mitigation, and you say you dont want any hard mitigation, which i believe you mean to be sol runes instead of having gear with DR X on it. you seem to be including dr% as well, given the 'no rockfleece' stance, but you're ok with string.

This should be like basic math to some of you.

10x sol runes + soe + rockfleece = hard mitigation

To reduce this stack of dr we applied a limit to flat dr and % dr.

5x sol runes + soe = balanced mitigation (for lld vtpk)

And yes, I do......need any more attention on making absolutely no sense?
