The above highlights that a -10speed range 3 weapon such as the one i posted earlier, while min damage lower then oath, its better range and you save 10 skill points and you get to use a jewel of yuor choice rather then a 15/30 jewel.

Skill point distribution:

In terms of Skill point distribution your end goal is : 3K FoH and Max Smite Speed.

In terms of how best to attain the FoH damage, its pretty simply - Max FoH
[ rare 2pc amulet, 3pc circlet, 25/25 3FoH stick, Dusk 20/20, Zaka and 10 skillers = 2979 FoH. ]

While you save points by skilling Synergies and having FoH (solely) from FoH Stick, I do not recommend this skill pathing. The reason for this is simple: You need to be able to FoH on Charge/Smite Slot. It simply takes too long to switch weapons and FoH.

Oath SC Setup

Max FoH
you need LvL 14 Fana [ and 85 ias from gear, i.e. Oath, Gloves and x1 15ias/30ed jewel in helmet ]
1 point Medi
1 point vigor
All remaining points in Holy Shield

Oath Naga Setup

Max FoH
Max Holy Shield
you need LvL 4 Fana [ and 85 ias from year, i.e. Oath, Gloves and x1 15ias/30ed jewel in helmet ]
1 point Medi
1 point vigor

-10 speed rare [ Hyperion Javs ] Setup.

Max FoH
Max Holy Shield
you need LvL 4 Fana [ and 60 ias from gear, i.e. Weapon (40) + Gloves (20)
1 point medi
1 point vigor
you should have a couple of spare stat points - drop them into Smite

So what all this means is:
Oath Small Crescent build will have lower smite damage noting you need to drop 10 additional points to attain Max Smite attack speed
Oath Naga build is similar to the rare build, but you need to sacrifice a jewel slot (not the end of the world)
Rare -10 speed weapon, Hyp javs is similar to the Naga build except you dont need to use a jewel slot and it has equal (or better) charge damage then Oath SC, but with added smite range (and damage, noting you save 10 skill points over the SC build).

the VT guide will need to Incorperate:

1. Pure FoH Guide
2. Pure Smiter Guide
3. "GM" V/T Guide
Also, as part of the V/T Guide I will need 3 mini guides:
(a) -10 speed Charge | Smite
(b) 0 speed Charge | Smite
(c) 10 speed Charge | Smite
(as outlined above)

Any reason you put them in smite rather than fana? Fana gets 17%ed per level and smite 15%.

I get that the stun length gets longer which is probably better for 1v1, but given how many pala combat skills you will have would the +2 fana not be better overall?
