Someone once argued with me in relation to duped jewels being allowed in the tournaments which I have hosted. The point was raised that tournaments can be hosted without allowing duped jewels. When I asked for an example, a tournament which I previously hosted (at a different level bracket) was quoted. I explained at the time that the reason for being able to do that was because of the distinction between LLD and MLD. The LLD community has not really been affected by the host of duped jewel sellers on JSP (compared to the MLD community which has been).
Using a tournament which I hosted, as an example, without realising why I was (and continue) able to host LLD tournaments without duped jewels, is to my mind a contradiction and I hope I was able to clearly explain at the time, and now, why I am able to maintain the LLD (30) policy of aversion to duped jewels.
Similar situation here, posting an item which once belonged to me does not constitute winning an argument against me! Yes my old Matri Javs are amazing, but I’m pragmatic. When someone comes along and offers me 52K for my no.2 (spare) javelins, I can honestly say that it is a good trade and well worth it. No, I didn’t need the 52K but it has allowed me to upgrade a lot of my characters. After I have spent it all (and im spending as quickly as I can!) I’ll post a topic; Spare Matri Javs used when I invariably run out of javs in FT5’s (almost never btw) vs Everything I got in place of them.
