Nice guide but I disagree with this point:

1. MDR Bug

Your opponent has say 13 magic damaged reduce
you have elemental damage of a single type, let's say 12 pvp damage
when your attack hits the elemental damage you do is reduced by the amount of mdr that your opponent has, if you have less elemental damage then your opponent has mdr then it reduces your physical damage

so if you have multiple types of elemental damage it affects each one sperately, this can add up to alot of physical damage dissapearing from your attacks

sounds strange that ele dmg effects the mdr which means only the necro dmg in lld´s
due to the fact that scs cant have md
I cant believe that it really reduces the phys dmg this way

please correct me if I am wrong or drop me a pm

regards :)

it's not just magic damage attacks (hammer, zerk, and bone skills) that mdr affects, it's all elemental damage as well

make string of ears very powerful in cs v cs duels as well

correct, dmg conversions are done after crit and other things, etc.

john and i did. it was hard to isolate the variables but we tested lvl 1 lb without crit and opponent with 0 res // o mdr and 0 life rep

we then calculated the max damage i could do pvp and threw like 50 or so. (We reallly didnt need to do this step because we already knew what the max min and average dam would be but we still manually threw them to form a control test.)

we then set crit at lvl 20 which is like 65% + crit and tested to see if any of the hits could score higher than the max pvp damage we calculated earlier. I threw like 100 + throws here

Test results: yes it does work. it was hard to tell with this skill because the crits could have been on all lower damage hits making them appear to be average hits but a few went over the max pvp damage indicating a crit occured on a mid to high hit.

The crit however should only be on 3/4 of your reg throw dam, excluding stacked ele damage

thanks!

edit: I scammed Brians information from a pm so forgive him if it's hard to understand
