mine?

Why don't we make a poll and see what the majority thinks?

See post #446, can I just ask you as well, have you been playing D2R and have you seen and experienced all the changes ?

here, read it again, I have bolded the key point

I dont see your counter argument (this was at Seb)
I do see your counter argument (this was at Supp)

if the general consensus is leave it at 30 for now and see some tournament results over the next few months, I can live with that.

I have been playing yes, have you?

I don't know what counter argument you want? It's literally you and maybe a handful more people that thinks this is a good idea.

90% of everyone is satisfied with all the existing builds, and that all classes has builds that can perform well in both 1v1 and tvt.

The majority of ppl thinks that it's better to actually get duelling and have a bit of fun before starting a rule book. Big general rules are fine to keep some ruleset, but things like lvling fury druids to 31 because it's not strong enough in 1v1 before any1 is even duelling is so dumb i have no words for it tbh. I don't need to argue for this, people can see this already.

This is just like in ogd2 when a handful of ppl thought it was a good idea to lvl some "fringe builds" to 59 and took that decision on their own even though the majority of ppl was against it. Worked out great iirc.

What arguments do you want?

I have always been of the mindset that we don't need to make every single build viable in 1v1, and i believe the majority of people agrees with me on this point. Fringe builds can actually be played even if they won't win a tour, believe it or not.

Yes, great. I'm sure the lld section is relieved

I believe the bold part seems most common sense for now.
I also believe is under alot of pressure to try and manage this ungodly mess D2R has created. So props to you!

Just want clarification for the shout ban.

This is specifically for melee duels? Such as conc barb vs x?
BvC's with 1k def aren't going to have shout banned vs other classes (including melee) that already have no issues vs such low def?

Incoming 30% warn, defaming fellationado.

I'd bet with you on my next warn level to be 10% rather than 30, if you were not a welcher ....

Latest version looks great, looking forward to throwing something jenky together.

I think the lack of being able to make "the best" builds makes it a little more exciting personally.

The rules above are designed for free for all 1v1 tournaments as well as Team duels (the most popular form of lld).

In Team matches, Telebarbs with the right gear (and the rules are designed on the basis that the player is wearing the right gear) are incredibly strong vs most builds. When you BO your team and Shout your team, you are providing the total team with alot of damage reduction, via either increased life or increased toughness. Over time, as gear became better and better equipped the rules on East became "Barb can only BO/Shout himself" whereas on Eu over time it became "Barbs may not use Shout".

I accept that very few barb players (but there will be some) will have an amazing 100% perfect barbarian by 2021 on D2r. However, what no shout does for ffa 1v1 and in particular team duels is balance the playing field by giving melee classes a higher chance of contributing to a team win. This will apply more now then ever.

In terms of Melee specific, and Conc barbs, I have never hosted such a tournament, i have been asked to host such a tournament, i dont mind looking but I dont have a starting point. if someone has any set of rules, I would suggest we go with that.

could just say "can only bo yourself, not others".
the difference in cth against a barb vs a shout'd barb is very minimal and would have practically no impact in the outcome of a duel. ww barb shits on anything that uses atk rating. actually it shits on anything that needs to be close to do dmg, even if they dont use ar (kick, smite).
