Never seen cowboy bebop, avoided it because of the title tbh. I don't like western style things (cowboy) outside of Westworld (which is barely western haha), and bebop just sounded dumb to me. Oh, and FMA Brotherhood of course. Should have thrown it into special mentions as well as One Piece. FMA Brotherhood is the most highly fan-rated anime of all time alongside Deathnote and Attack on titan, at least in North America (I watched it all and enjoyed it a lot, it could probably go 1:1 with SAO in my list on post 1). And One Piece is simply the longest running anime of all time. It's almost like a soap opera at this point. I read somewhere that just due to the length of time running (20+ years) and the target audience (asia), that One Piece is by numbers the single most profitable franchise of all time! But I am guessing that I'm just remembering that wrong tbh, not gonna look it up lol, butit must be the most profitable anime ever, I'd say cartoon also if not for Simpsons.

E/ I did check and it came in under several other animated projects so either that website or my memory (probably) are off. But still, One Piece has earned over 20 billions dollars haha! That's a lot for some (honestly) sub-par anime! I guess it's just due to staying 20 years in the world's largest market.
