I remember in an old 18v18 ladder i was playing a fissure and vs'd a pnb necro. about 5 mins into the first duel i called "TIME OUT", and said, "since this is taking so long let's do a first to 1 win, and we both get 3 minor mana pots". they agree'd. 30 mins later he quit and i won by default. worst duel ever.

Once upon a time, long long ago, there was a MLD assassin on EU. The assassin was called Lapras, and was famous on EU, being a constant gardener of the Low Level Duel games, and a feature in the PvP Tournaments held at the time, and long before that time (think : 2000-2007). The character was shared between 2 players, both of which were highly regarded and respected. As the years rolled by, 1 quit, the other remaining but diminished. As is our lot, eventually everyone moves on to new games/pastures/activities and it was only a matter of time before Lapras too, would fade from the Moor. It shames me to highlight that I errrm may hve sped this up somewhat. You see, one day, presumably after drinking ten too many glasses of french wine (the owner was french to my recollection) or god knows what kind of drugs, the owner decided in his drunk and impaired state to challenge this LLD forum to a duel. However there was a specific caveat:

No Barbs, No Amazons, No Sorc's, No Druids, No Paladins & No Nec's

Young ferdia (yes i was young and stupid back then, we all were OK!!) of course, registered, with his own trapper. Now I am not going to post the results (hint: i did not lose a round) but Lapras, the best trapper for a long long time, was never seen in the moor again.
In unrelated news ferdia got NOTHING for CHRISTMAS that year and thats EXACTLY what he deserved.

I have a story to share too (a legendary tale if you will).

There once was a trapper name malaysia.
Her traps so electric, she'd tase ya.
Best in all the lands, worth several grands.
And no soul could ever defeat her.
But on one drunken night,
He clicked left and not right,
And in a flash, she was deleted...

I never thought BJ could get more notorious than when he got beat on Malaysia vs IBZack on a windy. but then he deleted Malaysia and no one remembers he got 5-0d TvD. which might almost be worse than deleting realms best trapper.

We used to call level 9 assassin tomb pkers "warchickens" because the first guy to popularize the build with a guide was named Warchicken. Pretty sure the suggested build was mostly uniques with any os claw with the best low level jewels in it you could find (9 max plain if you were godly)

This made me die laughing LOL
