Sounds fun but I don't really see how a 1v1 tourney would help starters... I mean giving away stuff is awesome however let's be real, starters won't place high enough to get anything if any of you gosu lld veterans participate

More people welcome The gear is not bad at all, you won't be disappointed! I obviously won't participate because the whole point of this tourney was to give away my extra gear.

These are the proposed rules, I added in the Prayer ban because I've always wanted to, EU has it that way too. I'd like opinions on anything people see that seems unfair in any way, or anything you want to suggest that you think is a good rule. No characters are banned.

- Duels will take place on a bridge map
- Duels are first to 5 wins
- No hybrid runewords are allowed
- No use of third party programs or mods of any kind
- No use of potions of any kind
- No pre-buffing at stash; prebuffs must be done with what you carry on your character (example: cube bo)
- No + max res items *see class specific rules*
- "Poison length reduced by %" is capped at 50% vs poison-based characters (exception: builds that rely on death gloves/belt combo)
- No items that have the "slows target" mod
- Ethereal weapons must have repair durability if used in such a way that the durability would be degraded (example: ethereal Insight on a charger is banned but ethereal Spirit on a sorc is ok)
- When using insight to regen mana you must stay on mini map
- Running/overly defensive play to rep life is not allowed (no l8zing)
- General replenish life is capped at 25 *see class specific rules*
- If both players die in a duel, the duel is null and no points will be awarded
- Must show gear on demand
- No more than 135% resistance to any resistance type in 1vs1 duel

Class Specific Rules

Amazon
- No use of slow missles

Barbarian
- No intentional ww namelock

Druid
- No cyclone armor recast (exception: may recast cyclone armor vs Trapper and ES sorc)

Necromancer
- No bone armor recast
- Max number of bone walls per screen is 3 and you may not form a complete enclosure
- No decrepify
- Bone prison may only be used against characters who can teleport (from skill or tele staff)
- Necromancer may use 85% fire resistance vs ES fire sorceress (fb or fw)
- Necromancer has no limit on CR stack vs ES Blizz

Paladin
- May not stat prayer
- No holy freeze

Sorceress
- No using insight to regen mana with es on (using insight to cast es is ok)
