im in, don't worry about my fg now i'll have it.

and im sure diet_sushi will to.

PM'ed both of you. Looks like the turnout is better than I expected, we only need two more then =D

You won't need to send the FG until just before we start. We'll make sure everyone has the FG before I PM them the channel, and then once we all enter the channel we'll all send the FG to Linny. Still no date set at this point in time.

Everyone who's signed up so far, please post what days/times you're free (or unavailable, whichever is easier to list =D)

For myself, I have Tuesdays and Thursdays completely off, while I have class from 7AM EST - 12 PM EST, then usually work from 5 PM EST - 10:30 PM EST on Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Weekends, I usually have work in the evening (5PM EST-10:30PM EST), but it's not always the case.

Current participant list:

1. Dretharis
2. Goldfishies
3. This_Is_My_Username
4. xvmurdacb
5. Monicax3
6.
7.

This really sounds like alota fun. If I had the entrance fee I'd defenatly be in as I am a huge fan of ironmans and have alot of experience with them.

However, I have a questions/comment that others may also have.

with 7 people and 1v1 duels, 1 person will have 1 more duel than the rest, giving them an unfair loot/gear advantage. On the final match, 1 person will have 3 kills, and the other person will have only 2.
Although the pot would be bigger with 7 players, it would make it more fair if there were only 6 players, so that the two finalists will have had equal amount of loot/gear increases.

So it may be to your advantage to do a 6 player ironman, rather than the 7 person.

If I have made myself unclear please PM me with any questions.

thats true, but one person gets a by. so where one benefits with more items, the other benefits by less chances of losses.

Jstiller i think you mean that 1 player will get less kills not more kills.

Anyway yeah what he said, less chance of loss but less loot.

I thought of that as well, but hadn't really considered it as too much of an issue; usually by the time you're ready to duel, you have your gear finalized and used your gems and such, and you'll only end up selling their gear from another 2 or 3 gamble chances at the most. Perhaps we can have volunteers for the pool of the by selection? As in, before Linny announces the matchups people can volunteer to by, and Linny will pick randomly out of the group of volunteers. If there are none, he'd just select randomly from everyone.

Actually, I meant what i said smile.gif, in the 1v1 fight, if 1 person has 1 less kill than the other, the other will have 1 more. smile.gif

There is a decent chance that when a player loots, they will pick up better boots/belt/gloves/rings/ammys than they had previously.

I'm sure if all players agree to the terms it probably wont cause any problems, but even the slight unfairness towards winning 5+k fg could cause a problem, even if they did agreed to the terms. sleep.gif

I'm just not quite sure if getting the by, versus getting an extra loot are equally weighted when it comes down to the final match. smile.gif
