You dont "max" them

you put as many points into them as you can for your level cap

So bone spirit's cap is 1 point

Spears cap i belive is 14-16 points.

I just recently built my necro on east ladder. Not fully complete but he has turned out to be a very fun build. Your guide is really nice and accurate. Gear is right on the money. The other thing of mention should be using hell rush option. 12 more skill points for any lld.
