I kind of donated last minute, so its up to Ferdia. But if i donated at the start of the tourney, i would have said to put the funds towards the winner of the losers bracket (if you even have a losers bracket, i havent been following this too closely). That way people not in the top 3 have something to look forward to

In the past I never had a prize pool as I have seen how greed can corrupt people ingame and on these forums. with these recenty tournaments there has been a prize pool but I typically only state the distribution at the end, for the same reasons. however if you look at the nonladder league and the current prizepool you can estimate the payout structure, top 8 paid.

Thats fairly generous as far as tournaments typically go in any type of game. Usually if you arent first, you are warlocksdad

yea with the rules not being completely balanced, my view its not fair for the top player(s)/class(es) only to be paid. the whole idea is activity, so its not worthwhile to my mind to only reward the same ppl. better to share the wealth so everyone has fun out of it.
