He also wanted to use the excuse that people dont have gear for max resist so they should be able to use bm items to make up for it.

I told him that the rules have been this way even b4 the anya bug, and that its bs to allow someone to use bm items because alot of us llders have spent alot of time and effort into making our llds what they are within the rules. but w/e im wasting my finger power here.

2019 lld is the same as 2009 lld tbh. half care more about fun and half cant have fun unless it's made competitive. welcome to LLD. whichever side you're on here's a quick guide to having fun:

you know how many years i've heard fuckbois say they'll quit if i end up on their team with one of my wonky chars. 10. a full decade. years of unimaginative guide copycats playing c/c chars poorly but getting ears because dropping hammer fields or retreat trapping is fucking easy. o well, thus is life.

but there's a whole category of chars that aren't viable in 1v1, but are in tvt. and some of them have collected dust for a decade because tvt didn't exist at 30 on east. now it does, so you'll see more wonky chars. it's really that simple. but hey, good news, there's a whole subforum right here for people that don't like it:

I had super shitty characters for the longest time and could never compete with fully built characters

So cutting corners is what you would do.

100%. my thing is this tho. put ted on a tele cs zon and that team beats any average team even with a massive handicap.

the other night i lost like 20 2s matches in a row because the Hdin on my team is clearly brand new to lld and couldn't sync, at all. not any syncing. but i didnt ask for a swap, i was testing and he's clearly learning. o well.

focusing on the team comp seems a bit silly, if anything baddies should be banned. not that i want to do either.

I can’t think of a single time I’ve been disabling to a team because I happened to be on my Druid. I can only recall being begged to get my plaguer and then racking up kills on my fury. If I’m doing poorly in a specific build I’ll switch. I’m just not usually doing poorly on fury so I feel no need to switch. Being demeaned for wanting to duel takes the fun out of things and makes people worse duelers because it takes the joy out of things. Who wants to try hard to help a team win when that team consists of people belittling you? I think that behavior is the larger problem in overall number of victories and team harmony rather than someone using a noko or hard skilling amp. It’s also a major thing with folks like Danzeva who does fine when he’s on a team that gives him friendship style support rather than in a game where he’s being bullied.
