carlo - shield has amazing defence, 2 sox, lvl requirements. such a shield was for sale a number of years ago for 15K fg. as with some items, you get certain items for specific mods. your shield has all the desired mods, but nothing else. while further mods would be groovy, im not downgrading rate since anything else is just ++, its already amazing. also i have a few jewels that I have squirrel'd over the years but never used. I'll see if i can dig up something for you (free).

the first is a legit 20ed/9dex/5x ar one, i was looking for a similiar one, but it seemed that there were only doops from koryu and his dupeclan for sell

i guess u were thinking of volka's old shield which got scammed and later popped up in a random trade topic where the trader had no idea at all..
i dont remember the stats very well but im pretty sure it had similiar ones, may lee remembers at this point.

I got that shield from KoQ, not many might remember him, but he was playing lld way longer then me at all, i think he got it from offensive, but i am not sure at this point.
After all i am pretty sure at all that this shield is legit and not shopped, as said above i alrdy have it a long time in my stashs due to no second jewel and a few breaks i had with d2

The story makes enough sense. I wasn't really implicating Carlo as much as the general trend toward site purchases for uber godlies. This is the kind of item that charsifood is selling for $20 now which is a big part of why I finally quit for good. I couldn't stomach the idea of spending 1000's of hours doing everything I could to get the items I wanted when a decent part time job would get me all the items i could ever want in 20 hours a week for 2-3 months. it's not that I didn't enjoy the search, actually it's the opposite. more and more people started using that site which made every awesome/godly item questionable/suspect and took away the passion I felt for finding that perfect item/trade, these kind of items used to take ladders to find. Now... I could have it in a couple hours if i wanted. I realize that this technology has been around for a while, but it seems as though it's been abused to the point that it killed one of the last parts that was enjoyable about this game for me. I'm glad in a way since, I wasted so much time and some money on this game along the way, that I'm better off. I miss dueling, but that's the most unhealthy part for me lol... tl:dr...

Chum didnt scam anyone btw. certain people just don't like him and want to label him. alot of arguments over this issue for years, various threads over the years too. the simple fact is that those that did the scams, (keylog) admitted to the scams years ago, and showed all the items to prove they did it. 2 french guys, both locked now. Chum was the best mld player on europe for years, he shared multiple accounts, with alot of people, probably still does to some extent. generous, helpful, friendly but repeatedly kicked by people on this site. people that argue or contradict what i just typed either where not there at the time, or simply won't acknowledge the facts. This is not the first time i have said this, but your in my guild, so I thought you should know. Alot of people fell out with lee at the time, there were alot of questions, but it was pretty much all answered in time. Back on topic, where is that axe you showed me wizard, it was amazing, and way better then the idiotic axes i saw in the main TR thread recently.
