It’s a nice swap shield for es sorc, trapper, or zon vs plague. Also a pretty nice shield all around. Obvi 5 rep would be better but this is nice. Don’t know price but it’s worth posting as it’s a good shield

Is it due to the slower speed and lower range compared to a robo, because it does more damage than a robo?

not the same use, chargers dont use robos. it simply lacks dmg, dont ID them when they are not ethereal in the first place

It would be used by the same character that uses a robo--a barb. So it's the range and speed that are lacking then?

No, it wouldn’t haha. Swords and axes for barb, erep bh for charger, erep knout for charge/smiter, and w/e cool weapon you want for charge/zealer. You can prob figure out why each of those weapons is used by each of those char types
