Hi There,
This is an update to the 14th MLD Tournament. Welcome to everyone new and old to the tournament. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves in the tournament and I am happy to see that (for the most part!) everything is running smoothly. To ensure that everything continues to run smoothly, I wish to reaffirm:
1. The group stage will last 3 weeks, i.e. there are still 2 weeks left to complete all your duels and the group stage ends on the 04th July.
2. The rules are in my profile.
3. This is a good mannered tournament. As mentioned before, I would ask everyone to be nice, polite and if you don’t know your opponent or don’t get on well with them, be patiant and remain calm.
4. At times users not competing in the tournament may seek to disrupt the tournament. Please ignore these users and do not engage them in conversation when their intention is to harm. Please refrain from counter flaming as this will only make my job more difficult.
5. I have 5 duels pending which I have to referee and I am hoping that all concerned will remain calm.
6. Regardless of the reason I would ask that at this point players stop dodging opponents. If your opponent is dodging you and will not set a time to duel you, please record the facts in the Tournament Thread and pm me sothat I can try to contact your opponent to arrange the duel on your behalf.
7. Use either the event log (in my and Harabec’s signature) or the links to your opponents’ profiles located at the bottom of this PM, to arrange to complete all your outstanding duels.
8. Note that the following players 5 have pulled out: anpalcactus, cheekyboy, CruiseR88 & dej. Please do not PM them for duels to be completed in this tournament.
9. Important: Several users have yet to really get started in this tournament. In order to get you moving: Players who have completed less then 5 duels by monday the 27th June will be disqualified, so please try to complete all your duels asap.
10. Be warned: Players who are not seen to be going out of their way to arrange to complete their duels and/or are avoiding opponents and/or have to date note completed many duels may be TKO’d at the end of the group stage. This is fair warning to you well in advance of the Group Stage End Date (4th July) to complete your duels.
