Id have to do some math, but do to the way the craft calculation is works, the lowest lvl craft possible is clvl 14. Adding an additional mod to a base ring would likely put it over 18 unless it was a minor mod.

Base is:

1-5 vitality, 1-2 MDR, 1-4 DR. If you could still hit 35+ life rep and have max fire/light res with 2x crafted rings, the char would be fairly beefy


I tried a few crafts last night to see what mods might keep it under 18. Didn't get anything interesting except a 5vit/4/2 with 1maxdmg as an additional mod. But I may have been crafting on too high a char level. Really cool idea for char

Best ive got was 1 vit 4/2/1max lol
Then ive rolled a 1 vit/3/2/5 light res

many of the pcs of this build could be swap pcs if more killing power is needed, here goes

Helm: 3 os +3 leap +3 throwing mastery 2-3x dmg + mana jewels, 0-1 p skulls
Ammy: angelics
Ring1: angelics
Ring2: min/mana/rep/adds
Armor: angelics dmg/mana jewel
Belt: rare fhr/rep/life, swap Deaths
Gloves: Bloodfists
Boots: str glitched treads
Wep 1: angelics dmg/mana jeweled
Shield1: swordback
Wep2: inc stack t spears
Shield2: swordback
Inv: max/ar/str gcs, life/def scs, life/mana scs

should be enough Ar to hit most builds, full angelics has decent bonuses:

Complete Set Bonus
Half Freeze Duration
All Resistances +25
40% Better Chance of Getting Magic Item
Regenerate Mana +8%
+10 Dexterity
+50 Mana

then fire res on armor and 218 def with bonus, 30ias and 75 ar on wep, 1 skill 75 life on ammy, ar/lvl on ring. base life, base rep, 20 dtm, 3 dr as base mods.

range 1 on wep sucks, but thankfully it's fast. with bloodfists it hits 10 fpa, which is the fastest concievable speed u can hit without using deaths. 63 ias is req'd for 9 fpa, which is deaths + 3 pc bonus + twitch armor. which means you lose all bonuses from full set and 3 dr from armor.

dmg wouldn't be world beating but throw swap could pack a punch, and getting mass rep on swap might be worth trading out.

as it stands it will still have more life than any other 18 char, and 16 life rep with angelics and a rare belt and ring. could easily swap some sockets for skulls in helm/armor to hit more.

in terms of mana dmg/mana jewels may not even be needed depending on # of charms in inv.

would give a bit more punch in stun, and a stinging ranged attack. with OW procing to anti rep of other players. OW at 18 is bad but does work well as anti rep if applied consistently.

helm seems like the hardest bit to get

Angelics for bash is an interesting idea; my alternative was throw leap;

10 rep rings (rares, xx arc 5 rep, xx mana)
5 rep belt
10 rep amulet (we can really use any amulet here)
10 rep scepter 2x 4 str x dex jewels + -15 sig shield
Twitch 20
3 leap x mastery 3 socket hat 3x 20’s
Bloodies
1 combat 20 ias/ whatever mods t spear
VBSoD 2x 20’s
2x 6/xx/7’s
1x 6/xx/6 dex
Rest 15/8’s
1 pt shout
Max leap
1 pt spear mastery
1 pt bash
1 pt DT
Rest throw mastery

Would give us 35 rep life same leap radius both swaps

Probably a masteries or warcry amulet preferred, but it really doesn’t need any barb trees on it tbh

ya that build could use really any bowa/bf type ammy with 10 rep. 1 bcomb would be gravy but hard to find

idk the viability of range 1 Stun chasing chars. but perhaps after landing a leap run/stun chaining would be better for locking down than leap.

in any case im thinking throw swap seems needed for chip dmg for sure.

Hard to chase anything down without frw though so I like the idea of ranged better

indeed treads might not be enough. but some chargers come to you :)

idk how many frw gcs you'd need to catch chars, might be too many to maintain life/mana/def to be viable otherwise.

what do most 18 zons run on eu? treads then no frw charms?

Lvl 18 Zons usually run 70-90 frw.
I like the idea of a leap ranger over a leap and stun barb. I think a mauler is a better version of a stun barb. Lower fhr bps, but much higher life. Giving the barb range ups his versatility imo
